On Mother’s Day
The moment a child is born, the mother is also born.
She never existed before.
The woman existed, but the mother, never.
A mother is something absolutely new.
~Rajneesh

My mom become a mother again when she become a grandmother to my nephew Nikko and niece Yza. The way she looks at them, the way she talks about them we all can tell how much she adores her grandchildren.
Ill admit my relationship with my mom isnt that of the ideal mother and daughter relationship. Partly i was to be blame since i always been the seclusive, indifferent and the middle child. But being that, my mother is always there reaching out for me and making me feel included in every family activity.
Years passed, ive seen and realized how much my mom love me and my sisters. I always have fond memories of my mother coming home from work and always have some goodies for us. She never fails to make our birthday extra special and cooked for us no matter how tired she is.
Her unconditional love for me and my sisters have been challenged a lot of times. And yet she remains composed, poised and didnt falter for whatever storm that comes her way.
Mama, today and everyday is your day. I salute you for raising me and my sisters with all the love and sacrifices you had. We may not be as expressive in saying how much we love you and how important you are to us, but it doesnt mean you are not.
Infact, we are nothing without you.
Mama, Happy Mother’s Day! we love you very very much!
